We purchased a 24kW model running on natural gas. Our transfer switch is installed indoors next to the electrical panel. Since the generator is located in a low spot in the yard, we had a landscaper make a raised platform consisting of a 6×6″ timber box filled with fine gravel in order to avoid potential water damage. CT Electrical did a great job. They responded to our initial inquiry the same day and scheduled installation just two weeks later. The most exceptional aspect of the job was the way Bruce organized all the various participants so that the entire installation was completed in 6 hours on one day. There were 8 people involved and they had all the needed supplies on hand — 3 electricians, two plumbers (for the gas line), 2 landscapers (one with trenching machine and one who restored sprinkler lines), and finally the town building inspector. Everything proceeded without a hitch. The system was fully operational three days later following the final town inspection. Bruce, Ryan, and Lee have all been very helpful in answering questions and providing guidance throughout the process. I definitely recommend this capable and professional family business.
